Andre Drummond could face sanctions for appearing in a video promoting a new adidas basketball shoe.

Drummond is an incoming freshman at Connecticut and is considered one of the leading candidates to be the top overall pick of the 2012 NBA Draft.

Kris Dunn of New London High School also appeared, which could put his eligibility at New London High School in jeopardy. Dunn has committed to Providence.

It is not known whether any player accepted payment for their appearance.

Ricardo Ledo announced on Monday that he has again committed to Providence.

Ledo appears unlikely to play for Notre Dame Prep this season.

"He missed check in today and it's my understanding that he won't be returning," head coach Ryan Hurd said on Monday night.

Sources say Ledo will pursue a GED and attempt to enroll at Providence as soon as the second semester.

Ledo has already played four years of high school.
